Creating and Managing Notes in Elephas (iOS)

Write, edit, and organize text notes within your Super Brain

What are Notes in Elephas?

The Notes tab in Elephas allows you to create, edit, and manage personal text notes that can be indexed into your Super Brain or kept as standalone reference material.

Accessing Your Notes

  1. Open the Elephas app
  1. Tap the Notes tab in the bottom navigation

  1. View all your notes displayed in a grid, sorted by most recently updated

Each note card shows a preview of its content and when it was last modified.

Creating a New Note

Method 1: Using the Add Button

  1. Tap the button (top-right corner)

  1. Type or paste your content

  1. Tap Save to finish.

Method 2: From Another App

  1. Select text in any app (Safari, Mail, Messages, etc.)

  1. Tap ShareElephas AI

  1. Elephas opens with a new note pre-filled with your selected text

  1. Edit if needed, then tap Save

Tip: The share method is perfect for quickly capturing quotes, excerpts, or important passages from articles and documents.


Editing Existing Notes

Opening a Note

  • Tap any note card to open it in the full editor
    • Notion image
  • The complete note content appears for editing

Available Editing Features

  • Full text editing: Type, delete, and modify content freely
  • Copy text: Copy portions or entire notes to clipboard
  • Share to other apps: Export notes using iOS Share Sheet

Managing Your Notes

Viewing and Organizing

Each note card shows its title (first few characters), content preview, and last updated date.

Searching Notes

Use the search bar to filter notes instantly as you type. Search works across all note content and is case-insensitive. Tap X to clear your search.

Deleting Notes

Long-press a note card, tap Delete, and confirm. Important: Deleted notes cannot be recovered.
