Using Voyage embeddings models with Elephas Super Brain
Voyage offers a wide variety of options and capabilities for embedding models.
Generating Your Voyage API Key
- After creating an account in Voyage, go to the API key section in the sidebar.
- Click the "Create new secret key" button.
- Enter a name for your secret key and click "Create secret key." This action will generate a Voyage API key for you.
Remember to copy the generated API key.
Configuring Voyage with Elephas
- Open the Elephas preferences. Select AI providers. Click the gear icon for Voyage AI.
- Enter the API key you copied earlier. Choose the models you want to use and click Save.
Utilizing Voyage Models for Indexing
You can now choose Voyage models for indexing.
- Access the preferences window, navigate to the model settings tab, and choose Voyage as the Indexing Model. This will be set as the default indexing model for all brains.
- Additionally, you can modify the indexing model for a specific brain by visiting the brain settings page, clicking on the settings icon for that brain, and adjusting the indexing model accordingly.
