If you don’t see the icon, you may have too many menu bar apps open. Try closing a few, then re-launch Elephas.

🔐 Step 4 — Grant Accessibility Permissions

To allow Elephas to assist system-wide (for writing, SuperChat, and automation), macOS requires Accessibility permissions.

When you first launch Elephas, macOS will show a popup asking for Accessibility access:

“Elephas would like to control this computer using accessibility features.”

These permissions are necessary for Elephas to function smoothly across your apps — like Notes, Mail, and Safari.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Click “Open System Settings” when prompted.
  1. macOS will open Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
  1. Enable the toggle next to Elephas to grant access.

That’s it! ✅

Once enabled, Elephas can assist you across all apps — such as writing, automating, and activating SuperChat seamlessly.

💡

You’ll only see this popup once. If you accidentally click “Deny”, you can always enable it later manually under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.

Step 5 — Verify Setup

Once installed, you’ll see the Elephas icon in your Mac’s menu bar — confirming it’s active.

Click the icon to open the quick menu or start a chat instantly.

If the icon doesn’t appear:

  • Restart Elephas
  • Ensure it’s in the Applications folder
  • Check Preferences → General and enable “Launch at StartUp
