Steps to Create Super Brain

Step 1: Initialize New Brain

  • Click the "Plus" icon in the sidebar. This will create a new brain.

Step 2: Configure Brain Settings

  • Enter a Name for your Brain.
  • Select an Icon that visually represents it.

Step 3: Choose Your Model Mode

Step 4: Select Indexing and Default Chat Model

Choose your preferred indexing engine and chat model from the dropdown menu to optimize performance for your specific content type and workflow requirements.

Step 5: Configure Additional Settings (Optional)

Click "Advanced settings" to access additional configuration options.

  • Custom Instructions: Define how your Brain responds.
  • Ignored Files: Exclude specific files or folders from indexing for privacy.

Step 6: Create Your Brain

  • Click "Create Brain" to set up your brain with the selected configuration

Step 7: Modify Settings Anytime (Optional)

You can always update or change your brain’s indexing, chat model, or other configurations later:

 

Option 1: Using the Knowledge Base Header

  • Click the gear icon (⚙️) next to your brain name in the Knowledge Base header to access Settings.

Option 2: Using the Sidebar Context Menu

  • Right-click on a brain in the sidebar and select Settings from the context menu.

  • This opens the Brain Details page, allowing you to modify the brain's settings.

  • Once you're done, click the "Update Brain" button. This updates the brain settings.
